CANADIAN MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION
North and West Vancouver
At the behest of the CMHA, CCC established mental health services for the North and West Vancouver CMHA on the Sunshine Coast. This included connecting the CMHA to Vancouver Coastal Health, the Salvation Army Food Bank, establishing a drop-in service and Outreach program. This was a 7-month project.

SUNSHINE COAST COMMUNITY FOREST
Community Wood Project
CCC worked in concert with the Sunshine Coast Community Forest personnel to develop and implement a community firewood project. This project involved several community partners including those in the mental health sector.
SUNSHINE COAST YOUTH MENTAL HEALTHÂ LOCAL ACTION TEAM (LAT)
The Sunshine Coast Local Action Team is a group of concerned professionals and community members who volunteer their time, skill and knowledge toward establishing necessary coordinated services for youth on the Coast.
CCC continues to work alongside the LAT with support services including, volunteer writing and editing and community action initiatives.
SUNSHINE COAST COMMUNITY ACTION TEAM
The Sunshine Coast Community Action Team is "an incubator for connections and education around substance use and harm reduction for a wide variety of stakeholders."
CCC was proud to contract with this group to stassist with their Anti-Stigma and Community Education Campaign.
Coast Community Consultant worked in cooperation with the Sunshine Coast Community Action Team to start a SMART Recovery group in Sechelt BC. This group is located at St. Hildas Church. Meeting are from 7 to 8pm
GIBSONS GRIEF GROUP
This endeavour to meet the needs of grieving community meaumbers in Gibsons was an idea launched by Fred Zalm, a Salvation Army Food Bank Volunteer.Â
